Sire: Soprano

Szolitaire's sire, Soprano, is a striking, modern, 17.1hds, homozygous black stallion with proven world class performance bloodlines inherent in his pedigree. He posses correct conformation and three excellent basic gaits that exhibit energy, activity, suspension, and elasticity. His ground covering movement is effortless and impressive. His sire, Sandro Hit, is the legendary 1999 World Young Horse Champion and Bundeschampianate that has made his stamp as a producer of top horses. His name can often be found in the first or second generation of horses competing at the international grand prix level. Sandro Hit's sire, Sandro Song was a double graded champion in Oldenburg and is by Sandro, an international show jumper who won the Danish Derby. Welt As, in Sandro Hit's third generation, is famous for siring Anke Van Grunsven's Olympic Dressage champion Bonfire and many other top horses.

Soprano's damsire, the legendary Contender, who won his 100 day test, is one of the most significanta sires in Germany. His progeny are characterized by outstanding jumping ability, very good movement, and excellent rideability. He produced a long list of internationally successful Grand Prix jumpers along with several Grand Prix dressage horses including the well known sire Contango. Soprano's dam line (The Flattopia) also produced many international stars such as dressage horses Rubioso, Lord Kem, Continue, and Maffay, Calmiro, and Farmer. This dam line goes back to Tin Rocco, who won ten conformatino tests as  three year old and competed in Grand Prix jumping winning the Preis Von Blankenesse in Hamburg. In 1990 the FN Breeding Statistics showed Tin Rocco leading as the most successful sire of event horses in his age group.

Tin Rocco's sire, Tin Rod xx, was an English TB of large frame and excellent movement. He produced approved stallions and very valuable mares, including the dams of several international show jumpers.

Soprano's offspring are modern in type, inheriting his beauty, elegance, elastic movement, correct conformation, athleticism and dark color.

Reference Sire

Halston's sire, Notable GF, is from the esteemed breeding program of Gremlin Farms by Guacho III. While in Spain, Gaucho III won "Best Movement" at SICAB in Sevilla and gained high points in the ANCCE "Book of Merits" both for conformation and movement. After importation to the US Gaucho III had a successful Grand Prix career.

His dam, Cima d'ORO, is sired by the legendary Indiano XVIII, who’s pedigree is pure Romero Benitez, containing some of the purest and most admired bloodlinrs that trace directly back to the pure Cartujano horses. Multiple Champion in morphology, functionality and best movement in Spain. He was imported to Mexico where he competed under Spanish judges who awarded him Champion of Champion at the Mexican National show. His grand dam sire on the dam’s side is Centella V, considered to be one of the most important stallions in the history of the Andalusian horse. He was an extraordinary horse and Champion of Spain in SICAB in 1987 and Trophy of the Junta de Andalucía and the Real Maestranza.

Halston's full sister is the dam of 2 National Champions and National Best Movement winners here in the US.
